Kris - The Mentalist

Kris Blak also offers entertainment in the form of Mentalism (Mind Reading). Kris has had his own full scale theatre production - ‘The Mentalist's Masquerade’ - at the S.P.A.C.E. Theatre (part of Glasgow Acting Academy) and was also one third of a combined show of mentalism, illusions and hypnotism - ‘Mind Games’ which was filmed for the BBC documentary 'Viva Variety'.

Kris’ mentalism lends itself extremely well to the stage but is also excellent on a small scale and can be performed at private functions. In either situation, the audience will be captivated, mystified, amazed and simply entertained.

Preparing to select random audience members.

Showing the audience the props; plastic cups, milk & bleach.

Explaining that he will be blindfolded and they are to fill four cups with bleach and one with milk.

The blindfold goes on.

Cup filling begins with the bleach...

...then continues with the milk. The order of the cups can be changed if the audience members wish.

Kris now asks both audience members to say "YES" every time as he asks "Is this cup the milk?"

"Is this one the milk?" "YES"

Kris now tries to deduce from the way the audience members speak, which cup contains the milk.

Preparing to reach out and grab a cup to drink from.

Phew! He got the correct one!
